Central Butchery is proud to offer nationwide delivery across New Zealand, making it easy to enjoy our handcrafted meats whether you shop online, order for pickup, or visit us in-store. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how orders are processed, delivered, and collected.
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed during normal business hours, excluding public holidays.
Orders placed after cut-off times may be processed on the next business day.
You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been successfully placed.
We take care to prepare all products fresh and package them appropriately to maintain quality during transit.
2. Delivery Areas
We offer nationwide delivery throughout New Zealand.
Some remote or rural locations may experience longer delivery times.
Delivery availability and pricing will be confirmed at checkout.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size (weight).
Any applicable taxes are included where required by law.
Promotional or free shipping offers may be available from time to time and will be clearly stated on our website.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery timeframes:
Urban areas: 1–3 business days
Rural areas: 2–5 business days
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or peak periods.
5. Perishable Products
Many of our products are perishable and are packed with care to maintain freshness.
Please ensure someone is available to receive your delivery.
Central Butchery is not responsible for spoilage due to incorrect delivery details or failure to receive the parcel.
If your order arrives damaged or does not meet quality expectations, please contact us as soon as possible.
6. Click & Collect (In-Store Pickup)
Click & collect is available from our Stratford store.
Pickup details and timeframes will be provided via confirmation email.
Please bring your order confirmation when collecting your order.
Orders not collected within the agreed timeframe may be cancelled or discarded due to food safety requirements.
7. Authority to Leave (ATL)
If you choose to give Authority to Leave, you accept responsibility for the order once it has been delivered.
Central Butchery is not liable for loss, theft, or damage after delivery when ATL has been provided.
8. Delivery Issues & Delays
If your order is delayed, missing, or delivered incorrectly, please contact us promptly so we can investigate with the courier.
We will do our best to resolve delivery issues but cannot guarantee outcomes where delays are outside our control.
9. Changes or Cancellations
Orders may only be changed or cancelled before they have been prepared or dispatched.
Due to the nature of our products, we may not be able to accept changes once preparation has begun.
