We specialise in fresh meat, smallgoods, biltong, and other perishable food products sold online and in-store.

Many products are hand-prepared and sold by weight.
Final weights may vary slightly from listed weights.
Prices are displayed in NZD and include GST, unless stated otherwise.
If a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel or amend the order prior to dispatch.

5. Orders & Payment

Online Orders

Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
We reserve the right to cancel orders where payment cannot be verified or fraud is suspected.

In-Store Purchases

Payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed.
Special or custom orders may require a deposit.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping costs, delivery timeframes, and conditions are outlined on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by courier delays or external factors.
Ownership and responsibility for products pass to the customer once delivery has been completed.

7. Perishable Goods Responsibility

Due to the nature of fresh and perishable food products:

Customers must ensure someone is available to receive deliveries.
Products must be refrigerated or stored appropriately immediately upon receipt.
Central Butchery is not responsible for spoilage caused by missed deliveries, delayed collection, or improper storage after delivery.

8. Returns & Refunds

Our returns, refunds, and remedies are outlined in our Returns Policy, which complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ).

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under New Zealand consumer law.

9. Allergies & Dietary Information

We take care to provide accurate ingredient information where possible.
We cannot guarantee products are free from allergens.
Customers are responsible for checking product suitability.
Central Butchery is not liable for allergic reactions.
